I like "Clorox Anywhere Spray" for the kitchen counter, table and I keep a bottle in my car for wiping down the interior. It's nice because it won't ruin clothing and you can use it around food, kids, the dog...I also enjoy the simple scent/aroma of mild bleach, so this is a nice smelling product as well.

This is the mildest smelling sanitizer that I have been able to find. I am allergic to citrus, allergic to lavender, and even the vanilla scents on the market irritate my asthma. Lysol sprays are absolutely TOXIC to me. This daily sanitizer from Clorox is safe for me and I absolutely love it.

I bought this knife about a year ago, and the dealer sent me the similar-looking but cheaper Ontario Budget Machete. I contacted them and they immediately sent me a replacement and a shipping container. I mention this becase this gave me the opportunity to compare these two similar knives side-by side.

They are both made in the USA, solidly built, and have a comfortable slip-resistant handle. The only difference is the stiffness and thickness of the blade. The slightly thicker CT-1 blade gives the knife great heft without adding a whole lot of weight, and reminds me of large knives that cost much more, but with a little less fit and finish. After all, it's a functional blade you want, and not a high maintenance gunsafe queen isn't it?

I have used it in the backwoods now for a year, slashing heavy weeds, busting brush, splitting firewood, and one time I used it to dig a 3' hole in the ground. That last activity dulled the blade somewhat and put some nicks in the edge, but I carry a small bastard file which quickly puts a scary-sharp edge back on. There are a couple of nylon sheaths widely available: one is $6 and the other $10. Pay the extra $4 and get a nice heavy sheath. I strongly recommend this as a backwoods knife for hunting, to carry on a ATV, or for camping. I carry it on my backpack, and leave my heavier knife in the truck.

A lot of knife for the money, and way better for the truck or trail than the three other machetes that I own.

I really like this product,1095 is my favorite high carbon steel and ontario knife company one of the best commercial blade manufacturers in the good old USA. the blade is one eighth inch thick,perfect for its 12 inch length. After putting a convex grind on the edge i put this baby to the test. Nearly an hour into chopping and splitting wood using a baton on the back edge of the blade(the baton made of wood of course)the machete was still going strong,handle tight, edge only slightly dulled.I made a leather sheath for it and now it accompanies me and miss Alice on our weekly treks in the rockies. The price was right, the product well made, nothing fancy, no bells or whisels, PERFECT! I love it!!!!THANKS!! DB.

It is the perfect size for all round use and clearing out fire lanes for hunting, sharpened right up with a bastard file,then finished off with 320grit sandpaper to clear off the wire edge, took about ten minutes to get it hair popping sharp(the easiest way to sharpen a machete)gave it a nice convex, and added a one inch chisel grind on a small belt sander for making fuzz sticks right above the tang in the unused portion of the blade.

Had this headset for about two months now. It is very lightweight and you get quite a bit of talk time out of a single charge. The "noise assassin" is ok...not perfect. If I have my car radio on, people can usually hear it. On windy days, people can hear the wind. They can still hear me, not like if it wasn't there, but it is not the perfect "assassin" as they claim. The ear piece selections are nice, but it did take me awhile to find the one that was "just right" for me.

Overall, Im glad I purchased this, but make sure you catch it on sale.

The company sent a brand new, first quality, unit. I sent it back because it didn't fit in my ear correctly. People complained that I sounded far away. I think that the unit is too short for my face, because the only way to get my voice to sound right was to hold it against my face with my finger. I tried the different ear appliances, but wasn't pleased with the fit of any of them. Just not the right item for me.

We use this to store all of our family documents, photos, and other important files we want to save or share. Paired it with 2 Western Digital Green drives and it runs quietly and we have not had any problems. The only thing that would be nicer is if the startup time was a little faster when it's been idle for awhile. Other than that, the web interface for configuration and administration is good enough for home use.

I changed from a NexStar MX attached to my Cisco Router to this true NAS.
I am using two 2-TB drives in JBOD mode - the disk are syncronised separately w/out raid
It was an easy, simple process to setup, configure and use. The onboard linux install with samba delivers good functionality and performance at a cheap price.

Be careful if your drives already have data on them like mine did. The documentation is very clear that ALL drives are formatted when installed.

What I did was sync my two drives in the old storage. Then installed one in the new DLink NAS. After it formatted I copied all the files to the new drive (long process for 1.4TB). When the copy was complete I installed the second drive into the unit. Then used the internal download command to copy data from drive 1 to drive 2 without busying a computer.

There are websites and forums dedicated to helping you make the most of the device.

For a whole year, this device was pretty fantastic. I used FunPlug to run interesting software on it; had 2 1TB harddrives inside of it for media storage, which I would stream to multiple devices in my home.

However, just 10 days after the 1-year warranty expired - the device stopped working without warning. It manages to stay connected to the network for about 1 minute before disconnecting and becoming unreachable by any means. It seems that for some reason, the network interface on the device simply ceases to work.

Overall, it was a nice device despite its quirks and bugs (though I would certainly not recommend it to a novice user), but I am very disappointed in the hardware quality.

Baby Jogger 80090 Review by mommie

to clarify, I own the 2009 version of this stroller (bought used off CL), the differences are:

-air filled pneumatic tires (not sure but I've read the foam filled tires can make for a 'rougher' ride, thus, I'm ok with these)
-velcro fasteners instead of magnetic (wish we had magnetic)
-no parent console (I have read that the 'buggy buddy' does fine)
-slightly lighter due to air filled tires
-foot break (as opposed to hand break)

we have owned the instep safari, croozer 325, and baby trend double expedition, I do not feel that my expectations of a stroller were that hefty. boy was I wrong. BUT, this stroller has met my expectations, finally! I just had to be willing to pay quite a bit more than I initially wanted to! specifically, my needs that were met are as follows:

-adjustable handlebar for my 6'5" husband, also handlebar extends far enough away from stroller to prevent constantly kicking the wheels, which is super nice
-distinct divider between seats so that kids cannot freely and easily mess with each other, but can see each other if they want to (see below)
-seats are roomy - large enough for my 2.5 year old who will be riding in it for another year at least and is in the 80th percentile for height (so, tall but not that tall)
-moderately comfortable for my toddler (see below)
-front wheel swivels or locks
-jogging stroller (see below)
-decent sunshade (see below)

the divider between seats is a solid metal bar, some might not like this, but I do, of course it also adds weight to the stroller, but again, it adds stability between seats and I feel it is necessary.

After all of my double jogger experiences it seemed like these joggers were made for babies, the seats were so comfy for my 9 month old, but my 2 year old was constantly moving around trying to get comfortable. we plan to make him ride for a while longer and of course the baby is going to get bigger...finally it seems I found a stroller that makes its seats for TODDLERS not babies! how great. He has another 2-3 inches in head room before he will hit the top of the seat back! he has a place to rest BOTH FEET! he also seems to stay in place more, which might be attributed to the soft seat backs.

I realize this is not supposed to be a jogging stroller, however, I have read that it is ok to take for light jogging. We plan to use this for long walks and 1-2 mile jogs. I am not sure if this is 'light jogging' or not, but it seems to be holding up just fine. also, at my low speed, I can jog with the wheel still in swivel mode. I like this, I feel it reflects quality as opposed to most cheaper joggers that start to shake when this is done (not recommended, but just a little test I like to do and like to have the option if I want to just bust out and sprint every once in a while) Also along these lines.. can we get baby jogger and BOB to add the remote swivel/lock control feature? how awesome would that be? a small price to pay, however, for quality.

I know I might sound crazy, but I'm not terribly impressed with the sunshade. I would like for it to 'lock out' stiffly and would also prefer if the windows were a bit bigger to see my kiddos (again I own the 2009 model, not sure if this was improved or not) also, the shade when pulled all the way down still did not cover my infant's face, he is short, and I'm grateful that the stroller is made for larger kids, don't get me wrong... but I had to undo the velcro and tilt the somewhat soft sunshade forward to keep him covered. not a big deal but I was surprised by this. I actually think I prefer the 1 large sunshade that locks out stiffly by baby trend (the double expedition) however, it had many other (more crucial) problems.

there were a few things not on my list that I got with this purchase, they are as follows
EXTRA PERKS:

-quick fold. quick fold. quick fold. - the 'quick fold technology' by baby jogger is like nothing I've seen. (watching a BOB duallie video with a 3-step folding process really made me appreciate this even more!) It's the easiest thing ever. I could even explain this to my 60 year old parents and they could do it with no problem.

-maneuverability and shock absorption - going over bumps and on and off sidewalks is like nothing, nothing shakes in the stroller and nothing seems to 'hit hard', it just glides... ahhh. also I can maneuver it into tight spaces in our garage because its just easy to do that.. this wasn't possible with my other cheaper strollers.

-width. - this wasn't on my list bc I don't plan on using it indoors too much, however, it is incredibly skinny! the wheels do not 'stick out' on the sides, they are actually underneath the frame. Check out a rear shot of the design, its just smart. side note: I have the 2009 that has a foot break, so I know mine is skinnier than the more recent versions.

I am finally pleased with a double jogger.

I am almost embarrassed to admit how much I researched double strollers before purchasing one, but I relied on reviews so much that I had to add my thoughts to pay-it-forward :o).

I LOVE this stroller, and so does my husband. We had a spreadsheet comparing the size, weight, and features of many double strollers, and based on the dimensions I wasn't sure this would be my favorite. However, the user-friendly features and thoughtful details made this stroller the winner, hands-down. We love the durability - we feel like we definitely got our money's worth with this stroller. We love the thoughtful details such as magnetic peek-through windows and magnetic flaps to expose the ventilation for the kiddos. The built-in console for parents is better than ANY other double stroller - there are 6 open compartments and six more covered compartments near the handle. PLENTY of space for 4+ drinks, smart phones, cameras, etc. without adding a strap-on console that other strollers require you to buy separately. There are also mesh pockets along the back of the seats and under the seats. I was very worried about the under-seat storage after reading reviews, but found it to be quite adequate. I do hang my diaper bag on the handle of the stroller with clips (not recommended according to Baby Jogger), but it has not created any problems at all. Even when the stroller is empty, the diaper bag does not cause the stroller to tip. I could easily fit some shopping bags, jackets, or small items underneath, which is typically all we use the under-baskets for.

The seats are roomy. My 2-year old is tall (36", 28 lbs), and she has lots of room to grow. I also love that she can easily climb in and out of this stroller when we are out and about, which is what she loves to do at the zoo, etc.

I am pleased with how my Chicco Cortina carseat fits with the adapter (see separate review) without crowding my toddler in the other seat. It's not perfect, but stable and secure - and you can fold the stroller without removing the car seat adapter. Additionally, the toddler still gets full use of her canopy (The Bumbleride Indie Twin lost canopy use with the car seat installed) and the car seat does not crowd into the other seat of the stroller.

I LOVE the forever-fill tires and really appreciate that we get all-terrain use without worrying about carrying a tire pump with us.

The canopies are AMAZING.

Kiddos have lots of ventilation, especially when the seats are reclined.

The adjustable handle is impressive - the first stroller I've ever seen that can adjust to be too-tall for me! My husband is 6'5", and loves that he can maneuver this stroller comfortably.

The only reason I debated the 5 stars is because the stroller IS heavy. My husband and I are both tall and fit, so it's a small con for us - but could be a deal-breaker for smaller parents. I should clarify that it is not heavy at all to push - it glides like a dream. However, after it's folded, lifting it into the car takes some muscle (I think it weighs just over 40 lbs.).

We have also had the Baby Jogger Summit XC for two years and are definitely believers in Baby Jogger products! I don't know why I even considered straying to a different brand for our double. We should never need another stroller, but if we do - I'll go straight to the Baby Jogger and not waste my time researching others. They never compare!

Bought the 2006 version of this stroller when it was new. Have used it almost every day since then (had 3 more kids since I bought it), and have not regretted it once. I'm very tall and this is the only stroller I could find to run with, without kicking the back of it. I love this thing and even my big kids still climb in for a break on long walks. Worth every cent I paid for it!

I am beyond happy with My Timi and Leslie diaper bag! It is a great quality bag, made of very sturdy material. I was suprised with the amount of pockets it has. You can never have too many pockets in a diaper bag! It is also very comfortable to carry and attatches well to my stroller. I wish I had purchased this bag sooner! I have gone through three or four diaper bags since my son was born two years ago. I now realize that it's worth spending the extra money on a great bag that will last through the years. You won't be dissapointed with it!!

I have the black and white version of this bag, and I like the way it looks. I think it's too small though. It has a lot of pockets on the outside, which are great, but there's not much room in the central area, which is what's usually most important. Before you purchase a diaper bag, I think it's important too look at bags in person to get an idea of what you like and don't like before you buy something. I like that this one has a zipper, but it's really worthless, since I'm always putting so much stuff in it, that I can't zip it up anyway. This bag is of a nice quality and is great if you don't need to tote around a lot of stuff.

so what can i say about this product. I LOVE speakers. there great. but the amp it come with completely sucks. i hook it with the amp just for fun. doesn't even sound like a bass system is install. i got a 1200 boss amp, made sound perfect. so i def recommend these speakers. just plan to get a new amp with it.

I bought this as a spare remote for my Directed Electronics Python car alarm (I don't have remote start installed) installed back in 2008. This Viper remote looks very similar to my Python remote (other than the different names stamped on the top, the other obvious difference is that my Python remote is black while the Viper is dark blue). Both are Model 7701V and my local installer got the Viper to accept the programming. So make sure that the back of your remote has Model 7701V stamped on it.

My son is 4 1/2 months old and is the most picky eater, I've tried many other formulas with no luck. This is the only one he likes. It seems to give him less gas too. I like the fact that it has more vitamins than most other formulas, except for the DHA, but I supplement the DHA by giving him 1/2 teaspoon every day in his bottle of pharmaceutical cod liver oil that contains no mercury. I use Nordic Children's DHA, and he doesn't seem to notice it's in his bottle.

Hey guys,
So we are trying to feed a new born as much breast milk as we can, however there is not enough to meet his nutritional needs.
So a formula is in order as a supplement. With that, we are interested in your toddler formula, and it appears that since this meets the FDA Infant Formula Guidelines, that it should be safe, (and opinions on the Internet seem to feel the same way). However, our doctor says that it should not be used because of the higher amounts of calcium and phosphorous. He was also concerned about using the DHA/ARA supplement with concerns about the egg white process and that the proteins in egg whites are not good for an infant. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Dear Dave,

Thank you for contacting Nature's One�. Firstly, you are correct in that our Baby's Only Organic� formulas meet the nutritional requirements of the FDA's Infant Formula Act. No dilution is needed for babies under 12 months of age. Please follow label mixing instructions.

Regarding the calcium and phosphorous content in Baby's Only Organic� formulas, calcium is an essential nutrient needed for bone health. The American Academy of Pediatrics Expert Panel for Nutrient Levels in Infant Formula has provided recommendations on the amount of calcium with the minimum per 100 Calories being 50 milligrams and the maximum being 140 milligrams per 100 Calories. Phosphorus is another important mineral for bone health. The Expert Panel has also recommended that the calcium to phosphorus ratio in an infant formula be no less than 1.1 or more than 2.0. Baby's Only Organic� falls within these ranges with our calcium at 135 milligrams per 100 Calories and a calcium to phosphorus ratio of 1.5.

The balance between calcium and phosphorus is most important for bone development. The calcium to phosphorus ratio in both Baby's Only Organic� formula and Enfamil NextStep is 1:5. Thus, Baby's Only Organic� formulas provide an appropriate ratio of calcium and phosphorus for toddlers and an appropriate overall quantity of calcium and phosphorus.

Regarding our Baby's Only Essentials� DHA/ARA supplement, The DHA utilized in our Baby's Only Essentials� DHA & ARA supplement is sourced from egg yolk phospholipids. You are probably aware that most often an egg allergy is caused by the egg white rather than the yolk. Additionally, it is the protein component of foods that usually elicit an allergic reaction. Because we use the phospholipids (not protein) from the egg yolk, there is only a very minute chance that an allergic response will ensue.

If your child has a history of allergies, we highly recommend that you consult your child's healthcare provider.

DHA is also found naturally in other foods, including oily fish like trout, sardines, tuna and salmon and the yolk of eggs. Dietary ARA is available from animal meats, dairy foods, eggs, peanuts and nori seaweed. As your child increases the variety of foods in her diet, you can include some of these foods in her diet. Other natural sources of DHA would include fish oil or fish oil supplements. Unfortunately, it is difficult to insure that these are free from mercury or other environmental toxins. But, also remember that these fatty acids can be formed from dietary linoleic and linolenic acids (nuts, seeds, grains legumes, vegetables and their cold-pressed oils). By including good sources of high quality fats in the diet, your child will easily be able to meet her specific needs

Most egg allergies are a result of ingestion of egg white; egg yolk allergies are rare.

Proteins are the component of foods that cause allergic reactions. Egg allergy is usually due to the proteins in the egg white. These protein allergens are: ovomucoid, ovalbumin, ovotransferrin; lysozyme, and ovomucin.

However, there can be a rare situation of egg yolk allergy. The literature to date usually associates egg yolk allergy to a reaction triggered by inhaled bird allergen, referred to as Bird-egg syndrome. This is a very rare syndrome.

Egg allergy can also be seasonal. Oak pollen, short and western ragweed and the goosefoot family of weeds may cross react with eggs when these pollens are in season.

The estimated point prevalence of egg allergy in children is 1.6% by 2.5 years of age. (1) Again, egg white is usually the cause of an egg allergy. Most children outgrow an allergy to eggs by 5 years of age.

Just to clear up some confusion here is the quote from the manufacture's website:

"Baby's Only Organic� Dairy-based Toddler Formula contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid (LA), the fatty acid precursors for Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Arachidonic acid (ARA)."

Conversion of ALA and LA by the body to the more active longer-chain metabolites is inefficient: 2-5% for DHA. So while adding ALA to your child's diet is helpful it is not a complete substitute for the ARA and DHA found in breast milk (of course no formula can match breast milk).

If you want to use this brand of formula you should consider adding DHA and ARA some other way. This same company makes a supplement called "Baby's Only Essentials� DHA & ARA" and there are others on the market.

Hi - After checking with our pediatrician, I used this formula with both my kids to supplement from 3 months on. We tried Similac at first and my daughter really wasn't keeping it down. Then, after much research we tried Nature's One and she loved it! Both of our kids are extremely healthy. I was concerned that it was just for toddlers at first but we compared the nutrition contents to other brands and thought Nature's One was still the best choice.
